Game of Thrones Dinner
Chef Alexander Hult Showcase

On May 10th, In celebration of the Season 6 premiere of HBO's award-winning television show phenomenon "Game of Thrones", The Art of Flavor was inspired to challenge San Francisco restaurant Dirty Water and its talented chef Chris Fissel to design a medieval menu that transported "Game of Thrones" fans back to a royal feast in Winterfell.

It truly was a feast fit for Kings & Queens! Guests ate like Starks and drank like Lannisters!

Guests got into the medieval spirit taking photos with swords and Khaleesi's dragon while enjoying Wildling duck hearts, whole trouts, pork shanks, giant turkey drumsticks, and spiced cakes with impeccable wine & beer pairings.

"Great one of a kind experience!  Loved it!"

"Amazing Experience. Lovely Evening! We'll be back!"

"Brilliant themed night. Good food and plenty of it!"

On April 26th, in the spirit of the James Beard Awards honoring culinary excellence (hosted that same night in New York City), Art of Flavor launched its 'dining experience' series  featuring the culinary artistry of Chef Alexander Hult of the award-winning Hult's Restaurant in downtown Los Gatos.

Guests enjoyed a 4-course wine-pairing dinner with salmon mousse pastries, lamb sweetbreads, ahi tuna, duck breast in coconut red curry, and a melting chocolate sphere dessert.  Each course was flawlessly paired with delicious wines by Sommelier Joe Habib.

Chef Alexander Hult hosted the evening and spoke with guests.  As each course was served, Hult spoke about his creative inspirations for each dish, its ingredients and how he prepared them.
